After a $5 investment, this game has some reasonable value when you consider prices of other less interactive alternatives. 123 Learning games for kids is a well-made, cute, and easy-to-use app. We found it to be a good interactive substitute for a standard picture book, particularly for the volume of content once you unlock the full version of the app.
Across the board, the app is educational and accessible for young kids. The focus is based on numbers, so the core activities are learning to count and recognizing the value of numbers.
Aside from the one-time purchase to unlock the full version of the app, you won’t encounter any additional upsells to buy more. There is one ad in this game: on the bottom of the screen, you’ll find a button promoting a new app that features the Bimi Boo bear. When clicked on, it brings up a “Parents only” message and requires a birth year to be entered to verify it’s an adult. You’ll then be taken to browse through all of Bimi Boo’s apps.
The privacy policy is acceptable and while the app isn’t COPPA certified, it doesn’t collect any data directly from your child.

123 Learning games opens in a scene of a 20 car train, carrying a variety of animals, which acts as the game menu. Each train car has a corresponding number (1-20). When tapped on you’ll walk you through a 5 segment series of drag and drop, tap on the number, trace the number, etc. kinds of activities. Numbers 1-4 are all free, and with one in-app purchase of $4.99, you can unlock the rest of the carts/numbers 5-20.
The gameplay features many cute animals and animations as you go through and learn and play with the values of each car.
