While the videos included are high quality, it looks like most are available on YouTube for free, so what you’re paying for here is the ability to own and download these videos on your device. The app includes one entertaining game just for fun but has buyable content that has lots of educational value.
The developers have a decent privacy policy that is widely enveloping of all their apps, but we’d like to see mention of COPPA Compliance, as well as a more specific policy for the app.
There is a section of ads in the main menu disguised as in-app games (which send you to the app store to download new games from the same developer (likely with the same business model). There is also a multitude of in-app purchases. This app has more is more in-app purchases than games/videos.

When you first open Baby Sharks Best Kids Songs you’ll see the menu opens up on the main menu which has 5 tabs. My Songs, My Books, Fun & Games, Music Store, and Book Store. There is one free video in My Songs called Baby Shark and nothing to watch in my books before purchasing. The Fun & Games tab is just a catalog filled with links to take you to the app store to download more games from this foreign developer. These in-app purchases range from $4 to $45 and include packs of songs.
