GoNoodle – Kids Video
GoNoodle is a free active/dance video app featuring original and sponsored characters.
GoNoodle is a free active/dance video app featuring original and sponsored characters.
GoNoodle is a free curated video player featuring lots of content encouraging kids to move and learn. The price is right, and the content is fun and engaging.
Just about every video included in GoNoodle is created to get kids moving or learning. We loved the content and have it a stellar 5 stars because of the active goal of this app to get kids up and active as they learn or play.
While there are no in-app purchases, there are occasional video ads before content featuring their kid-friendly sponsors (Tom and Jerry, Peanuts, Nickelodeon etc)
GoNoodle is also COPPA-compliant ensuring kids will be safe using it.
All in all, we really love this app!
GoNoodle opens immediately to the video library which contains different random categories. Videos are generally sorted nonsensically aside from one small dock which allows you to sort through “channels” which is just their way of saying “shows/series”. The nonsensical nature of this organization seems intentional, as there are even buttons to “show me something silly, delicious, relaxing, stretchy, etc) and it will choose a random video for you.
Within the GoNoodle app, there are different series/shows that focus on different things/characters. While most of these videos are music-based and use songs to encourage kids to dance or sing along with someone, there is educational content mixed in here and there.
Some videos guide kids to dance along to a song, Some are educational songs (like a song about pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters). There’s a lot on here to keep your little on entertained!
Games occasionally include recognizable content from popular publishers like Nickelodeon, as GoNoodle partners with them for “limited time only” content. While there are some popular characters on this app, some of our play tester’s favorite videos featured the app’s original characters, songs, and animation.
There is a series that does videos in Spanish as well, although most of the app is English speaking.
There is a ton of content to keep kids busy, especially if your little one likes to dance and move!
