Miga Town is free to download and play, but most of its content is locked behind a one time $3.99 paywall. After that, you get quite a bit of content to play around with in this cute town making the purchase worthwhile, particularly if your little one already enjoys other Miga apps.
A common theme among Miga apps is a not-so-great privacy policy. We see this as a red flag since it doesn’t ensure any COPPA compliance to protect your childs privacy. While we haven’t encountered anything within the app to cause concern, we’re unsure of what data is being collected.
There aren’t any ads in this game, however you will encounter in-app purchase blockers to access the full content of the game.
As far as virtual dollhouses go, this one is fun but isn’t as robust as others. If you have already started to invest in the Miga series of apps then this would be a fun addition. Otherwise, we would recommend going with alternatives that have more content and stricter privacy policies.

The game opens up on the title page, and immediately, you will be able to scroll across 6 cute locations in Miga town. Once you’ve chosen a location, you can pull characters out of your character dock and place them where you like amongst the room’s many set pieces and character accessories. There are couches, closets, beds, showers, etc. you name it! There is a lot to explore and play within these interactive locations. While most locations are locked behind a one-time paywall, this free version offers 1 location for kids to play in. The gameplay revolves around imaginative play with the characters in their environment. It is much like a digital dollhouse as you play around with their clothing and accessories. This game is similar to Toca games.

Summary
Miga Town is a fun experience and the single in-app purchase unlocks a lot of content. Young kids will be distracted as they play around this adorable community. although it’s unlikely they would learn much, as Miga Town is really about exploration and interaction with characters in a scene.
