Pango Halloween Memory
Use memory skills to get rid of pesky ghosts
Use memory skills to get rid of pesky ghosts
This cute game is a fun way for your child to test their memory skills by clearing a haunted house of ghosts.
The cute kawaii-style art game is great for younger kids as they work their way through the mansion finding and matching ghosts. Kids in the 6-8 age range may find the game a little too easy to beat, but younger kids will definitely take a fair amount of time to get through the whole experience.
We love that each room (level) gets progressively more difficult with the number of ghosts to match. We also appreciate that the art style isn’t scary for young ones. The ghosts are all rather cute and each room becomes illuminated as you match more and more ghosts.
Our play-testing only took about 20 minutes, so for $2.99 you’re not getting a whole lot of playtime.
The makers of the app, Studio Pango, are based in France and follow COPPA regulations to protect kids’ privacy. This app did not have any in-game advertising or in-app purchases at the time of our testing.
The game starts with a quick scene-setting intro of trick-or-treaters being spooked away from a haunted mansion by ghosts. Pango arrives after finding the front door open.
Upon entering a player just needs to find, tap, and match the same ghosts throughout a scene. Different elements throughout each room will animate slightly to encourage players to tap on them to unveil the hiding ghost. Tap two correct objects in a row and the ghosts will disappear, changing the items to be more vibrant so you know they’ve been completed.
There are over 10 rooms to work through with each getting slightly harder along the way. Once you’ve matched all the ghosts the whole mansion is illuminated and ready for trick-or-treating!
