Tizi World – My Pretend Life is a pretend play app for young kids to explore and let their imaginations run wild. While a lot of the content is locked behind paywalls, the free version of the game actually has a lot of fun locations and dolls to play with. Compared to similar apps, Tizi World – My Pretend Life is overall more fun and imaginative virtual dollhouse than most on the app store. The different cities and towns in the game vary from Stone Age Town to Fairy Land and even an Underwater Village.
While this app’s privacy policy is written with kids in mind, it states that it’s the user’s job to not give any information about themselves if they are under the age of 13. We’d rather see a more robust policy that includes COPPA compliance, but there isn’t anything other than that that is concerning in the Policy.
There are a few in-app purchases to unlock all the content available in this game, but there are no ads outside of the ones for those.

GAME PLAY
The first thing that happens in this app is a video at the beginning showcasing some of the many possible things you can do in the game. From there, you go into a world menu, where you can select from 1 character creation world and 10 virtual dollhouse worlds. These worlds are all themed (pirates, space, dino, princess, mermaid, Halloween, fairy, etc,) although there are a few that seem to just be modern real worlds. Within these worlds, there are generally 10 locations that you can place your dolls and play in. In the free version, you can only play in 3/10 of these locations within each world. In order to play everything in a world, you can either pay 1.99 to unlock the worlds individually or pay 9.99 to unlock all of them at once.
Each world has its own variety of dolls in the doll drop-down menu, most being locked behind a paywall. For instance, in the space world, you have a variety of aliens along with some more common humans in space outfits.
In the character creation world, you can choose only between a white character and a black character to customize into a boy or girl using various hairstyles, and outfits. Many of the customization options are locked behind customization packs. In order to use a certain locked hairstyle, you may need to purchase a $1.99 bundle which includes a few items in each customization category. There are 4 bundles currently available for in-app purchase.
Within the dollhouses, you can move various props around the rooms. Your characters can also hold various props. Tizi World stands out from other virtual dollhouses because you can emote with your dolls. After tapping on a doll, you can choose their expressions, poses, actions, and more.
There are a few interactive items in each room. For example, in one location in the space world, there are many doors and windows that you can open by tapping on little hand scanner icons.

Summary
Kids will love the various themed locations and the ability to customize their own character in Tizi World. With the ability to emote and a lot of free content, it is one of the better virtual dollhouses available.
