Miga Town: My Vacation

A fun virtual vacation for young kids

ABOUT

Like the rest of the Miga Town apps, Miga Town: My Vacation adds to the growing collection of apps focused on open-world play for young kids.

This app is centered around a fun beach vacation that gives kids some digital fun in the sun. Like other Miga apps, kids can customize their character and explore various scenes ranging from their “home” to their vacation beach destination.

The app is free to get started but to experience the whole vacation destination you’ll need to fork up $3.99. Our playtesters and reviewers in the app store find the app to be a little Toca Boca lite, both in price point and content.

The whole Miga Town series of apps have really vague privacy policies which keep us from being able to say that the apps are secure. While they don’t request any information we can’t tell what data they may be collecting.

GAME PLAY

The game opens with fun music and illustrated graphics that are sure to get any young child excited to play.

As a new player, you’ll get to explore one area of the game and interact with up to 5 characters. Throughout the scene are fun interactive elements that you can click on or drag and drop to characters for fun animated sequences.

In order to experience the full app, you’ll need to make a one-time in-app purchase. This unlocks all the scenes and characters within the app. Unlike other Miga Town apps, this one is pretty apparent that a purchase is required to get the full experience.

Once unlocked players can explore the island, the hotel (buffet included), and their rather posh hotel suite.
